Coupling of Nandan Kanan Express train broke in Uttar Pradesh, split into two parts, major accident averted

The train, which was running late by over three hours, left platform number one of DDU junction at around 9:30 pm on Monday when the mishap took place. After necessary inspection and repairs, the train resumed its journey at around 1:00 pm. Meanwhile, the authorities have also launched an inquiry to ascertain the cause of the coupling failure.

Accident News. A major accident was averted in Uttar Pradesh when the Nandan Kanan Express split into two parts due to the breakage of the coupling. A major rail accident was averted near Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction in Uttar Pradesh when an express train suddenly split into two parts shortly after departure. This accident caused by the breakage of the coupling caused panic among the passengers travelling in the Nandan Kanan Express. 

The train was going from Anand Vihar to Puri in Odisha. According to the information, the train was going from Anand Vihar in Delhi to Puri in Odisha, when the coupling of the sleeper coach (S4) of the train broke. As soon as the coach got separated, there was chaos inside the train and the passengers got badly scared. After the incident, the railway staff immediately controlled the situation and prevented any serious consequences from happening.

Train split into two parts before reaching... 

 Within a few minutes, the train split into two parts about six kilometres before the station, leaving the passengers in shock. Railway officials immediately swung into action. After necessary inspection and repairs, the train resumed its journey at around 1:00 pm. Meanwhile, officials have also launched an investigation to find out the cause of the coupling failure.
