Daughter of IAS officer jumps from 10th floor, suicide note recovered

Maharshtra: In a tragic turn of events, the daughter of well-known Maharashtra cadre IAS officer Vikas Rastogi and his wife Radhika Rastogi has tragically ended her life. According to reports, the young woman, aged 27, took her own life by jumping from the 10th floor of a building in Maharashtra. Authorities discovered a suicide note, adding a layer of complexity to the already distressing situation.

Vikas Rastogi is currently the Secretary of the Education Department, while Radhika Rastogi is the Secretary of the Currency Department.

According to Nagpur Times, at around 4 AM today, she allegedly jumped from the 10th floor of a building and died on the spot. The 27-year-old was immediately rushed to GT Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. 

A senior official mentioned that she was studying for an LLB degree in Sonipat, Haryana, and was worried about her academic performance. A suicide note was found at the scene, in which she reportedly stated that no one was to be blamed for her death. Authorities have registered a case of unnatural death at the Cuffe Parade police station.
