Crime News: In a quiet neighborhood of Azad Nagar in Yamunanagar city, Haryana, a young woman committed a horrifying crime. She killed her mother and brother, then called the police with a false story about a robbery and murder. The truth was revealed during police questioning, leading to a murder charge against her.

The police received a call on Dial 112 at 4:01 PM on Sunday, reporting a robbery and double murder. The call came from the phone of the deceased woman, Meena. When the police arrived at the house, they found two bodies in different rooms. Rahul, 22, was found on the drawing room floor with marks on his neck, while Meena, 45, was found on a bed in another room with blood flowing from her nose and head. The young woman, Kajal, was also present in the house.

Suspicious circumstances

The police immediately sensed something was off. Kajal claimed she had been at a beauty parlor and returned home to find the house ransacked and her family members dead. However, her story didn’t match the evidence. Neighbors reported hearing no screams, and the condition of the bodies suggested they had been dead for seven to eight hours, conflicting with Kajal's timeline.

Police investigation reveals the truth

Upon receiving the initial report, SHO Jagdish Chandra, DSP Abhilaksh Joshi, and teams from the CIA and FSL arrived at the scene to investigate. Kajal told the police that her mother had asked her to bring two glasses of juice while returning home. However, the police were not convinced by her story due to the inconsistencies and lack of evidence supporting a robbery.

Accused accepts her crime

Due to her inconsistent statements and suspicious behavior, the police interrogated Kajal thoroughly. Under intense questioning, Kajal eventually confessed to the murders. The motive behind the crime is still under investigation, but the police have registered a case of murder against her and any potential accomplices.

DSP Abhilaksh Joshi confirmed that the initial report of theft seemed suspicious, and the role of the complainant, Kajal, was immediately questioned. SP Gangaram Poonia added that after the preliminary investigation, a murder case was officially registered against Kajal and others involved. The exact details of how the murders were committed will be clearer after the post-mortem examinations.
