Daughter-in-law paid heavily for refusing physical relations with mother-in-law, know what happened

A shocking incident has surfaced from Agra, where a woman has claimed that her mother-in-law pressured her to have physical relations with her and when she refused for doing so, her mother-in-law attacked the victim with a blade. This attack left five cuts on her arm which needed stitches.

New Delhi: A women from Agra, Uttar Pradesh has accused her husband and his family of torturing and harrasing her. She stated that they even forced her to have physical relations with her mother-in-law. The police have registered a case against this. 

Mother-in-law pressured for physical relations 

According to the police report, the woman married a man named Alok Upadhyay in Ghazipur district in the year 2022. She also mentioned that the abuse started soon after they got married. 

The woman claims that her mother-in-law pressured her to have physical relations and when she refused for doing so her mother-in-law attacked her with a blade. This attack left five cuts on her arm which needed stitches. 

Husband questioned the child's ligitmacy 

The woman also claims that her sister-in-law took away her clothes, making her wear the same cloth for a month while being kept in a room. She also faced constant demands for dowry and physical abuse, report says. 

The abuse reportedly got worse after the woman gave birth to a son in 2023. Her husband began to doubt if the child was his or not and started to physically assault her. Following the beating, he threw her out of the house. Neighbors stepped in to help and she was allowed back inside.

Women returned to maternal home 

A couple of days later her father came to visit her and she decided to shift back to her parent's home in Agra. Earlier this month, the woman's in-laws contacted her and her father asking them for a compromise. The woman and her father went back to the in-law's house to have conversation in this regard but the meeting turned into a fight. They left the house again after the tussle, which happened on June 7.

Meanwhile, the police have filed a case based on the woman's complaint and are now investigating the accusations.
