New Delhi: For the first time after the devastating stampede on July 2 has left a community reeling as 'Bhole Baba,' also known as Surajpal, conveyed his heartfelt condolences and appealed for solidarity in a recent video statement. The incident, which occurred during a religious gathering, resulted in multiple casualties and injuries, prompting an outpouring of grief and demands for accountability.

What Bhole Baba said? 

In his emotional address, 'Bhole Baba' expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and urged the affected families to remain steadfast in their faith in the government and administration. He assured that those responsible for the chaos would face consequences, emphasizing support for the victims and their families through legal channels.

Hathras stampede 

More than 121 people, including women and children were killed after a stampede broke out at a satsang organised by a self-styled godman, Bhole Baba aka Naryan Saakar Hari, in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras on July 2, 2024. Till now, police have arrested main organiser including 6 people in this case. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi also visited Hathras and met victim's families.
