Crime News: A shocking murder has rattled the city of Faridabad, Haryana. The brother of a local Congress leader was brutally shot dead late at night, causing widespread alarm and raising serious concerns about safety and law enforcement in the region. The incident is suspected to be the result of a long-standing rivalry over money transactions.

The Faridabad Police reported that the murder took place near Masjid Chowk around 11:15 PM on Sunday night. The victim, 32-year-old Kunal Bhadana from Nawada Koh village, was gunned down in a violent confrontation.

What has eyewitness said?

According to the police complaint filed by the victim's brother, Jyotindra Bhadana, a local Congress leader also known as Rinku Bhadana, Kunal was with a friend near Masjid Chowk when the attackers approached. An argument broke out between Kunal and the assailants, identified as Vijay, Billu, and two other individuals. The conflict quickly escalated into violence.

Jyotindra Bhadana recounted that, based on his brother’s friend's account, Billu held Kunal while Vijay shot him in the chest. After committing the crime, the attackers fled the scene in a Swift car. 

What happened next?

Following the shooting, Jyotindra, with the help of others, rushed Kunal to Asian Hospital in Sector 21-A. Tragically, the doctors pronounced Kunal dead upon arrival.

In response to the complaint, an FIR was registered on Monday at Dabua police station. The charges include sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act. Inspector Vidya Sagar, Station House Officer (SHO) of Dabua police station, stated that two special teams have been formed to apprehend the suspects. Raids are being conducted, and the police are confident that the accused will be captured soon.
