Dharmapuri Srinivas, former president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and a notable minister, passed away at the age of 76. According to his family, Srinivas had been battling an illness for some time and succumbed to a heart attack at 3 am on Saturday.Srinivas had a distinguished career in politics, having served as a Minister, Member of Parliament, and PCC president in the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh. He leaves behind two sons: Dharmapuri Arvind, currently the MP of Nizamabad, and his elder son Sanjay, who has previously served as the Mayor of Nizamabad.Condolences from Political LeadersIn the wake of his passing, Telangana Minister for Transport and BC Welfare, Ponnam Prabhakar, expressed his condolences.
