A disturbing incident has emerged from Pratapgarh, where Maulana, the founder of a local madrassa, was brutally murdered using a shovel and a sharp weapon. The village is now gripped with tension following this tragic event. News of Maulana's murder has drawn a large gathering from the Muslim community to the scene, prompting the police to deploy a significant number of officers to maintain order.

Where this incident occurred? 

The incident occurred in Sonpur village within the jurisdiction of Jethwara police station. It is reported that Maulana was killed in a dispute involving land and financial transactions. Maulana Farooq's lifeless body was discovered near the doorstep of the accused.

Police action in this matter

According to police reports, Maulana Farooq operated a madrasa in Mauhar village of Pratapgarh city and had returned to his native Sonpur village. It was there that he fell victim to the heinous attack, succumbing to fatal injuries inflicted by a sharp weapon. The perpetrators remain at large, prompting law enforcement to conduct extensive search operations.
