Commercial LPG Cylinder prices: In a move that could impact businesses, oil marketing companies (OMCs) increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders on Thursday, hours before the union budget presentation. Since January 2021, commercial cylinder prices have seen around 50 revisions.As per Indian Oil data, a 19 kg cylinder cost ₹1349 in January 2021. The frequent increases, by ₹50-100 each time, have jacked this up substantially.Todays marginal hike of ₹10-20 comes amidst expectations of some relief measures in the budget to boost growth. The government, however, seems mindful of fiscal pressures with the focus on reining in inflation.
