Chhattisgarh encounter: In a recent development, seven Maoists were fatally shot while three Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel sustained injuries during a confrontation in Chhattisgarhs Narayanpur district. The skirmish unfolded around 3 PM in the dense forests near Gobel and Thulthuli villages, within the Orchha area on Friday.The clash erupted during an anti-Maoist operation, wherein a joint team of security forces, including personnel from the District Reserve Guard and ITBP, embarked on a mission to curb Maoist activities in the region.
