Char Dham Yatra: Uttarakhand govt bans video shooting near temple premises, VIP darshan till THIS date

In view of the continuous sruge in the number of pilgrims visiting the Char Dham Yatra, the Uttarakhand government has decided to extend the ban on "VIP Darshan" till May 31 this year. Not only are there a large number of devotees coming for darshan, there is also a gathering of bloggers and video creators.

Ban on videography

In such a situation, devotees are facing inconvenience. Now the administration is going to take strict action against those who do videography to fulfill their adventure or hobby. In fact, a new order has been issued by the government on Thursday, in which there is a complete ban on making reels within 50 meters of the temple complex.

What Uttarakhand government said? 

In this SOP of Uttarakhand government, it was said that Char Dham Yatra is being conducted in the state, in which a large number of devotees are coming for darshan. The government and administration are working to make arrangements for this. But, the video shoots or reels that some people are making are causing problems to the devotees. People are gathering in large crowds at one place to see them, due to which the pilgrims are facing difficulties in darshan and worship. To avoid inconvenience to the devotees, a complete ban has been imposed on shooting reels or videos within 50 meters of the premises of the temples of Char Dham Yatra.

Char Dham Yatra

The Char Dham yatra started on May 10. In the first six days of the pilgrimage, till Wednesday, 3,34,732 people from India and abroad have visited the shrines to offer prayers. Registration for the yatra started on April 25, and till Thursday evening, more than 270,000 devotees had registered for it.
