According to the updates by ISRO, the spacecraft is currently undergoing a series of orbit manoeuvres to reach the moons orbit. The scientists of Chandrayaan-3 have claimed that it will take about 33 days from the launch date to reach the orbit of the moon. After making a soft landing on moon, it will operate for one lunar day, which is approximately 14 Earth days.Chandrayaan-3 has been launched with the objectives of safe and soft landing, rover roving on the moons surface, and in-situ (in the original place) scientific experiments. Chandrayaan-3 is the follow up attempt after Chandrayaan-2 mission faced challenges during its soft landing in 2019.
