Ahead of this landmark moment, Indians from all walks of the field, be it political leaders, actors, and normal citizens, have taken to Twitter to show excitement and convey well-wishes to the team.

Indian political leaders convey ‘best wishes’ to Chandrayaan team

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the well-wishes, writing, “Best wishes for Chandrayaan-3 mission! I urge you all to know more about this Mission and the strides we have made in space, science and innovation. It will make you all very proud.”

Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, wrote, “Best wishes to the ISRO for #Chandrayaan3, a remarkable mission pushing the boundaries of space exploration! Let’s celebrate the strides in science, innovation, and human curiosity that have brought us this far. May this mission inspire us all to dream bigger and reach for the stars!”

Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, juxtaposed two pictures that highlighted the rise of ISRO from its humble roots to becoming a space giant. He wrote, “A Remarkable Journey! How it Started, How it is Going. All set for #Chandrayaan3!”

Cricketers, Bollywood stars go gaga over Chandrayaan launch

Several celebrities came out in support of the Chandrayaan 3 team, wishing them success and praying for them.

Mithali Raj, the former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, wrote, “Good luck to the brilliant minds at ISRO as they prepare for the launch of #Chandrayaan3 today. Rooting for your success, onwards and upwards!”

Yoga teacher and writer Sadhguru took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Namaskaram Dear Sri S Somanath ji, My Best Wishes and Congratulations to you and your team on this enormous endeavor that you have taken up. I am sure that every one of you has strived to make #Chandrayaan3 happen successfully, particularly after the previous loss. We are sure that this time you will achieve this and land India in a Place of Pride with this pioneering mission to the southernmost point of the Moon. My Blessings to you and each member of your team in this historic exploration of Earth’s mystical and magical satellite. Much Regard and Blessings.”

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, referring to the previous Chandrayaan 2 mission, tweeted, “And the time has come to rise! Great luck to all our scientists at ISRO for #Chandrayaan3. A billion hearts are praying for you.”

Delhi Police too joined in the action, tweeting from their official account, “Less than four years of Chandrayaan-2 and India is again ready for the mission! Wishing ISRO stellar success at the launch of #Chandrayaan3”
