New Delhi: The Chief election commissioner announced the dates of voting and counting for the upcoming Assembly elections. Delhi Elections to be held on 05 Feb, 2025 in one phase. The results will be announced on 08Feb.

Delhi assembly has 70 seats. The national has been in poll mode for some time now with the three major parties — the Aam Aadmi Party, the Bhartiya Janata Party, and the Congress in the fray.

While addressing the Press Conference, the CEC said that many concerns were raised in the 2024 elections and a lot of allegations were made like EVM manipulation, deletion of voters etc. All these issues will be resolved.

Apart from this, another allegation was made that voter turn-out increases after 5pm in the evening. The Chief Election Commissoner said that we have issued manuals, hand books and pamphlets.
