Pahalgam Terror Strike: CCS Convenes Emergency Meet Under PM Modi’s Leadership

 

National News: The horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the entire country. Soon after this attack, the central government has swung into action and an emergency meeting of the Cabinet Committee (CCS) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started in Delhi. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other senior security officers are present in this important meeting.

The meeting is discussing the circumstances of the attack, security flaws and future strategies. According to sources, there is a preparation to take tough and decisive steps from the government.

Rajnath Singh's tough message

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh strongly condemned the attack, saying, "This cowardly act cannot break the unity of the country. The Indian government is adamant on its 'zero tolerance' policy against terrorism and the culprits will be punished under any circumstances." He also said that all the people who are involved in the conspiracy of this attack, even if they are behind the curtain, will be brought to the fore.
