An official statement indicated that Singh has been placed on compulsory waiting at the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) until further notice. Moreover, the government has already canceled the National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET), adding to the contentious atmosphere surrounding NEET-UG.Narco tests, brain mapping possibleIn a related development, Bihar Polices Economic Offences Unit (EOU) received reference question papers of NEET-UG 2024 from the NTA. These papers will be cross-referenced with those recovered during a recent search at a flat in Patna. Sources close to the investigation revealed plans to explore forensic tools such as narco tests and brain mapping of the accused individuals implicated in the case.Bihar Police detained six individuals Over the weekend, EOU officials engaged in detailed discussions with senior officials from the Union Education Ministry and other pertinent branches in Delhi, addressing various factual aspects related to their ongoing inquiry.
