Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress leader, slammed the Uttar Pradesh state government on Friday for the recent occurrences of recruitment examination paper leaks and called for a CBI investigation into them as well as severe punishment for those responsible. 

Concerning the recent occurrence of the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment exam, she stated that over 50 lakh young people submitted their applications, making it the largest test in the State's history.

During her rally, Vadra also highlighted the Review Officer (RO) exams which also faced the similar instance of paper leak. 

“This discussion is taking place in every village of UP. The government is sleeping. Boys and girls are shouting and protesting from Allahabad and Meerut to Lucknow, demanding re-examination. The government is humiliating them and beating them with sticks,” Priyanka Gandhi alleged in a post in Hindi on X.

Priyanka Gandhi also raised the demand for the appointment of the social justice spectators to prevent corruption in reservation and added this will make sure to restore the confidence of youngsters. She also reiterated that all the examinations forms should be available for free of cost and also demanded free buses and trains for the students appearing for the exams. 

Notably, the protest by the aspirants at the front gate of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission against the alleged leaking of question papers of the police recruitment examination entered its fifth day on Friday.
