New Delhi: In a shocking incident reminiscent of the Bollywood movie "Special 26" starring Akshay Kumar, four men disguised as Enforcement Directorate officials tried to carry out a fake raid on a businessman's home in Radha Orchid, Govind Nagar, Mathura. Just like in the movie, where a group of conmen pose as tax officials, these men tried to deceive the homeowner with their fake identities and search warrant. However, the homeowner was alert and quickly saw through their plan, taking swift action to stop them. Thanks to his quick thinking, the men's elaborate scheme was foiled, and their plan was exposed.

The impostors arrived at the businessman’s house early in the morning, presenting themselves as ED officials. They were accompanied by a man posing as a police inspector and carried a forged search warrant to lend authenticity to their ruse. Their objective was to carry out a phony raid, but their plan began to unravel when the businessman became suspicious.

Businessman exposes impostors

Despite the initial shock of finding what appeared to be ED officials at his doorstep, the businessman maintained his composure. Although the group presented a search warrant, the businessman was vigilant and attentive to their behavior. He soon noticed inconsistencies in their conduct and realized something was not right.

The businessman raised an alarm, drawing the attention of his neighbors. As more people gathered, the impostors recognized that their deception had been exposed. Fearing arrest, they quickly fled the scene.

What do police officials say?

A police spokesperson said this morning, between 6:00 and 6:30 AM, a group claiming to be from the Enforcement Directorate entered a businessman’s house in Radha Orchid colony under Govind Nagar police station limits. The group included a man and a woman in uniforms. They presented a fake search warrant and claimed they needed to search the premises. The resident, however, was alert and created a disturbance, calling his neighbors to the scene.

Shailesh Pandey, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mathura, commented that the fake ED officials tried to persuade the crowd that they were legitimate, but their deception was quickly uncovered. Our team is reviewing the CCTV footage and other evidence. We are filing a case and will soon identify the suspects.
