The special thing is that just 72 hours ago, she had handed over the responsibility of this post to her brother Anand Kumar, but now changing the decision, Randhir Beniwal has been made the new National Coordinator.

Who is Randhir Beniwal?

Randhir Beniwal comes from Saharanpur district of UP and belongs to the Jat community. He has been associated with BSP for a long time and is considered a dedicated leader of the party. He is known among the party workers as a grassroots leader who works with full dedication and hard work. He has been very active especially in Jat dominated areas and is continuously working to strengthen the party.

Anand Kumar himself expressed his desire to step down
Mayawati informed about this decision on the social media platform 'X'. She wrote that Anand Kumar, who is also the national vice president of BSP, had expressed his desire to stay in the same post in the interest of the movement and the party. Due to this, his removal from the post of National Coordinator was decided. However, he will continue to work under the direction of Mayawati as the national vice president.

Why was the decision changed in 72 hours?
Mayawati removed her nephew Akash Anand and appointed Anand Kumar as the national coordinator of BSP. At that time she had said that Anand Kumar would do excellent work for the party. But just three days later she reversed this decision. However, she has cited Anand Kumar's own wish as the reason for this.
