The state of Punjab has a 425 kilometre international border with Pakistan, which leads to occasional cases of inadvertent border crossings.A Pakistani national was arrested on June 27 near the Hazara Singh Wala village in Punjabs Ferozepur district. Similar to the present case, the BSF returned the man to Pakistani rangers after establishing that he had crossed the border inadvertently.
