A shocking incident unfolded in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where a heated argument within a vegetarian family over bringing chicken into their home escalated into a fatal confrontation. Two brothers, Aman and Kuldeep, have been arrested for allegedly strangling their younger sibling, Anshul, to death. Police have also booked the brothers’ mother for attempting to conceal the crime.

Argument over non-vegetarian food

According to police reports, the family, known for strictly following vegetarian practices, became enraged when Anshul brought chicken into the house under the influence of alcohol. Despite his family’s objections, he entered the kitchen, retrieved his food, and began eating. He then taunted his brothers by showing them the chicken, sparking a heated argument.

The altercation quickly spiralled out of control. In a fit of rage, Aman and Kuldeep allegedly strangled Anshul with a rope, resulting in his death.

Cover-up attempted by family

The family took Anshul to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Hospital authorities notified the police, leading to an investigation. Statements from family members revealed the chilling sequence of events.

Post-mortem results confirmed that Anshul had been strangled. The accused brothers confessed to the crime during police interrogation. Their mother was also charged for attempting to cover up the incident and withholding information from authorities.

Following the confession, both brothers were arrested, and legal proceedings are underway. The incident has shocked the local community, highlighting how a seemingly trivial disagreement spiralled into a tragic crime.
