JD(S) leader HD Revanna was apprehended by SIT officials at the KR Nagar Police Station in Bengaluru concerning a kidnapping case that had been lodged against him. This development unfolded as part of Karnatakas SIT crackdown, targeting individuals linked to cases involving indecent videos.The arrest of Revanna occurred at the residence of Karnatakas ex-Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda in Padmanabhanagar, Bengaluru. He was subsequently escorted directly to the SIT office. This action came after Revannas bid for pre-emptive bail was turned down by the MP-MLA court, prompting the SIT to initiate the process of taking him into custody.
