New Delhi: In a concerning development, reports indicate that a resident of Karnataka, identified as Mohammed Rasool Kaddare, has issued a death threat against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media. Rasool, seen brandishing a sword in the post, has triggered widespread concern and calls for action from authorities. Despite the gravity of the threat, law enforcement agencies are yet to apprehend the individual.

Identification of suspect

The individual behind the threat, Mohammed Rasool Kaddare, gained notoriety after posting a video on his social media platform where he menacingly brandished a sword while threatening Prime Minister Modi. The video, circulated widely online, has raised alarm bells and prompted swift action from law enforcement agencies in Karnataka.

In response to the threatening post, authorities have initiated legal proceedings against Rasool. An FIR has been lodged under sections 505(1)(b), 25(1)(b) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the Arms Act at Yadgiri's Surpur police station.
