Breaking! Bhole Baba breaks silence on Hathras stampede; Here's what he said

New Delhi: Regarding the Hathras event, the self-styled saint Saakar Vishwa Hari Bhole Baba has released his first comment. Baba has sent his sympathies to the families of those who passed away at the event. In addition, he has made it clear that he departed the event well in advance of the rush. In a written statement, Baba also declared that senior Supreme Court advocate AP Singh is now formally his attorney.

In the village of Sikandrarao in Hathras, there was a stampede during the Manav Mangal Milan Sadbhavana Sammelan. This stampede claimed the lives of 121 persons. Numerous individuals suffered injuries. Since the accident, Surajpal Singh has been evading capture. His initial response has now been made public in this regard.

What did Baba say?

According to a written statement released by Surajpal Singh, also known as Bhole Baba, we offer our sincere sympathies to the relatives of the departed and ask God to grant the injured person a quick recovery. It further states that he was absent when the rush within the assembly happened. He was already on his way out. 

Baba is rumored to reside in an ashram in Mainpuri. A day after a stampede occurred at his Satsang in the Hathras district, a huge contingent of police officers was stationed outside the ashram. 31 people were hurt and 121 people perished in the rush. Nevertheless, the administrators remained silent when asked if Baba was present in the ashram.
