In a shocking incident from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, six masked men abducted a 17-year-old girl from a local shelter home. The men, who concealed their identities with masks, executed the kidnapping with a level of coordination reminiscent of a cinematic plot.

Incident at Gwalior's one-stop center

The abduction occurred at the one-stop center in Kampoo, Gwalior, between 1 and 2 AM on Friday night. The perpetrators scaled a 4-foot-high wall to gain entry to the campus. Using a stick, they retrieved the keys from a table in the guard room through a window. Once they unlocked the channel gate, they called out to the girl, who then left with them. The entire incident, which lasted about 20 minutes, was recorded on the center's CCTV cameras.

Guard asleep during abduction

At the time of the incident, a female guard was on duty at the shelter home. Unfortunately, she was asleep and remained unaware of the events unfolding. There is speculation that an insider from the shelter home staff may have aided the kidnappers.

Possible love affair behind the escape?

The police have filed a case against the unknown assailants and have launched an investigation. ASP Akhilesh Renwal and CSP Ashok Jadaun noted that the girl had previously run away from her home twice. She had been placed in the shelter home on June 7 after telling the court she did not want to live with her parents. Authorities suspect the girl may have been in a relationship, which could have influenced the abduction.
