On Wednesday, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, the co-producer of the film Emergency, approached the Bombay High Court with a petition to secure the movies release and obtain a censor certificate. The petition alleges that the censor board has “arbitrarily and illegally” withheld the films certification, despite having prepared the certificate for issuance.The plea was presented to a division bench comprising Justices B.P. Colabawalla and Firdosh Pooniwalla for an urgent hearing.
