Bomb threat prompts evacuation at DLF mall Noida; Police launches immediate investigation

On Saturday, the DLF Mall in Noida received a bomb threat via email from unidentified sources. The email warned that a bomb had been planted within the mall, threatening the lives of everyone inside. In response, police teams were immediately dispatched to the location, initiating a thorough investigation.

As a precaution, ongoing movie screenings were halted, and the cinema hall was evacuated. Mall staff, store employees, and visitors were directed to safer areas by the authorities. The DLF Mall of India, a major shopping destination in Delhi-NCR, houses various amenities, including a multiplex, entertainment zones, food courts, and stores featuring leading brands in apparel, footwear, sportswear, and salons.

In a related incident, the Ambience Mall in Gurugram also received a similar bomb threat on the same day. The Gurugram police, along with the bomb squad, swiftly evacuated the premises and commenced a search operation to verify the threat. According to reports, the mall management received an email claiming that bombs had been planted to "kill everyone in the building."

Authorities are taking these threats seriously and continue to investigate both incidents.
