In a tragic incident on Thursday, the body of a woman was discovered inside a water tanker in Punes Phursungi area. The deceased, identified as 25-year-old Kaushalya Mukesh Chavan, was found when locals were drawing water from the tanker near the Phursungi power station.Discovery of the BodyAs residents began filling water, the flow suddenly stopped. Upon inspection, the tanker driver discovered a piece of sari obstructing the outflow. When the driver opened the lid, he was horrified to find Kaushalyas body inside. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine whether her death was a result of suicide or foul play. According to the police, no visible injury marks were found on her body, and the exact cause of death will be confirmed following a post-mortem examination.Background and CircumstancesPolice inspector Mansingh Patil reported that Kaushalya was last seen near a building where the tanker driver resides, with the tanker parked nearby.
