Amid all the twists and turns in the Sandeshkhali row, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has replied by releasing a new video in response to the publication of an alleged sting operation video by the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal. A woman who was previously seen in the May 4 sting film claimed to have been coerced into lying in the most recent clip released by the BJP. The party intends to inform President Droupadi Murmu about the situation by sending a team to speak with her.It is worth noting that Sandeshkhali has been in the news since February when women from the area demanded the arrest of TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan and his aides over allegations of sexual assault and land grabbing.
