Five days after winning the three states in the Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday appointed central observers to oversee the selection of new Chief Ministers for the three Hindi heartland states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. The appointments come after days of suspense and speculation surrounding the party's leadership choices.
According to the sources, the names are likely to be announced over the weekend.

Rajasthan: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Vinod Tawade and Saroj Pandey
Madhya Pradesh: Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, K Laxman, Asha Lakra
Chhattisgarh: Union Ministers Arjun Munda and Sarbananda Sonowal & Dushyant Gautam
