In Mumbai, a man was upset with the delay in getting the cake on his birthday that he attacked his wife and son with a knife in anger. Both mother and son were injured in the attack. A police officer said that both of them have been sent to the hospital for treatment.

The 45-year-old accused has been identified as Rajendra Shinde, resident of Sakinaka area of ​​Mumbai. Giving information about this sensational incident, a police officer of Sakinaka police station told PTI that a case of attempt to murder has been registered against the accused Rajendra Shinde and he is absconding after the incident. The police is searching for him. Giving further information, Sakinaka Police Station officer said that Rajendra Shinde's birthday was on Saturday (June 1). But his wife Ranjana Shinde got late for her work. Because of which she reached home the next day at 12.15 pm with her husband's birthday cake. Because she works as a maid in homes.

What Police said? 

According to the police officer, Ranjana's husband Rajendra Shinde was very angry when the birthday cake arrived late. As soon as he came home, he started arguing with his wife Ranjana and started abusing her. During this time, when the couple's son tried to intervene, Rajendra Shinde got more angry. Rajendra lost his temper. He went straight to the kitchen and picked up a knife from there. Then in anger he stabbed his son with a knife below his ribs and on his chest. During this time Ranjana kept screaming. Kept stopping her husband. But he showed no mercy. When he tried to save his son, Rajendra Shinde stabbed him in the wrist.

According to the police officer, both were injured in the attack. The clothes of both mother and son were drenched in blood. Hearing the commotion, neighbors reached there and took him to the nearest hospital, while the accused fled from the spot. The doctors discharged Ranjana Shinde from the hospital after dressing her and giving her medicines. But his son is being treated at Rajawadi Hospital in suburban Ghatkopar.
