Farmer alleges Rs 20,000 bribe demand

The farmer reported that Atul Rathi asked him for a hefty sum of Rs 20,000 to get his mutation processed. Instead of paying the full amount, the farmer gave Rs 2,000 as an initial payment. To support his allegations, he recorded a video of the transaction, which has since sparked widespread outrage in the area.

Bribe for government work, video surfaces

Residents of Raja Rampur have begun to raise questions about the rampant corruption in their village offices. The farmer's complaint highlights a broader issue, where it appears that government officials, such as Rathi, do not carry out any official duties without demanding illegal payments. This case is just one of many that underline the systemic corruption present in local governance.

The video evidence has thrown a spotlight on the corrupt practices within Raja Rampur's local administration. Villagers are now questioning whether any official work can be done without paying bribes. Such incidents have fueled calls for strict action and transparency in government dealings to prevent further exploitation of the local population.
