Bihar News: A horrifying case of brutality against a seven-year-old girl has emerged from Gaya, Bihar, leaving the community in shock. The young victim was discovered abandoned by the roadside in critical condition on Friday morning. The incident occurred in a village under the Belaganj police station. The family immediately informed the police, who have since launched an investigation.

Victim Recounts Ordeal, Names Suspects

According to the family, the girl went missing on Thursday evening while playing near her house. Despite extensive searches throughout the night, no trace of her was found. On Friday morning, she was discovered weeping and injured by the roadside. When questioned, the girl named two men from the village as the perpetrators. One of the suspects, identified as Pallu Manjhi, allegedly lured her away on the pretext of playing and later committed the heinous act with an accomplice.

Police Investigate and Ensure Security

The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Gaya, Ashish Bharti, called the incident deeply concerning. "The Belaganj police station chief has been instructed to take strict and immediate action. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the accused, and they will be arrested soon," Bharti assured. The SSP further stated that the victim and her family are being provided full security.

Victim’s Medical Condition Remains Critical

The girl was initially admitted to the Belaganj Community Health Center but was later referred to Prabhavati Hospital in Gaya for advanced treatment. Police are supervising her medical care. Her condition remains critical, and preparations are underway to record her statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This incident has sent shockwaves through the area, with residents demanding swift justice. The police have intensified their search for the accused, vowing to ensure they face the full force of the law.
