Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition, particularly the RJD, during his visit to Bihar's Bettiah on Wednesday. Responding to recent remarks made against him regarding the “Pariwar” issue, Modi accused the opposition of promoting dynastic politics and neglecting Bihar’s development during their time in power.
Addressing a large crowd at a public meeting, Prime Minister Modi criticized the opposition parties for the 'Jungle Raj' and the rise in unemployment in Bihar. He blamed the previous RJD-led state government for the high migration of youths from Bihar to other states in search of livelihood and better opportunities.
ये डबल इंजन की सरकार है, जो बिहार के मेरे परिवारजनों को जंगलराज से मुक्ति दिलाकर विकास के पथ पर आगे ले जा रही है। pic.twitter.com/Tu1t6g32bq

“In the decades following independence, Bihar witnessed significant migration of its youth, which escalated during the “Jungle Raj” in Bihar. Families associated with the Jungle Raj were solely concerned about their well-being, while the youth were compelled to seek opportunities outside the state,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated.
NDA की सरकार हर घर को सूर्यघर बनाना चाहती है, लेकिन इंडी गठबंधन अभी भी लालटेन की लौ के ही भरोसे है।

Speaking at the public meeting under the banner “Viksit Bharat Viksit Bihar,” Modi emphasized that the entire nation was his family and rejected criticisms about his lack of a family. “The only issue for them (RJD) is that I don’t have a family. I left home at a very young age and dedicated my life to the service of people. The entire country is my home, and every Indian is my family. Today, every Indian is saying that - 'Main Hoon Modi Ka Pariwar',” he declared.
The Prime Minister’s remarks came in response to RJD Chief Lalu Yadav’s comments during the 'Jan Vishwas Rally' at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on March 3, which sparked BJP’s 'Main Hoon Modi Ka Pariwar' campaign.
During his visit to Bihar’s Bettiah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth Rs.12,800 Crores. These projects include the City Gas Distribution projects in Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, and Deoria, as well as Grain-based Ethanol projects at HBL’s Sugauli and Lauriya.
Moreover, foundation stones were laid for projects such as the construction of a six-lane Cable Bridge parallel to the Digha-Sonepur Rail-cum-Road Bridge at Patna on the Ganga River and the four-laning of Bakarpur Hat – Manikpur section of the NH-19 bypass. Various road projects were also inaugurated during the visit.
This marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s second visit to Bihar within a week, following his previous visit on March 2, during which he inaugurated several development projects and addressed public meetings at Aurangabad and Begusarai.
