Bihar Political Stir: In a fiery session at the Bihar State Assembly on Monday, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former Deputy CM, took aim at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, highlighting what he called Nitish's inconsistencies and ideological shifts.
Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, known for his outspokenness, criticized Nitish Kumar for his frequent changes in political alliances, particularly his transition from the Mahagathbandhan to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Tejashwi accused Nitish of wavering in his ideological stance, pointing out what he perceives as inconsistencies in Nitish's political journey.
During the debate on the trust motion presented by the Nitish government, Tejashwi Yadav also credited the previous Mahagathbandhan government, led by Nitish Kumar, for facilitating mass appointments during its 17-month tenure. He emphasized the accomplishments made under the previous administration, underscoring the importance of continuity in governance.

Tejashwi Yadav directed his criticism not only at Nitish Kumar but also at the newly appointed Deputy CMs and BJP leaders, Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. He reminded Samrat Choudhary of his previous confrontations with Nitish Kumar and questioned Vijay Kumar Sinha's rapid ascent to power within three years, amidst what he described as Nitish's frequent policy reversals.
Amidst interruptions from NDA legislators, Tejashwi Yadav reiterated his commitment to transparency and accountability in governance. He highlighted past achievements, including the creation of over two lakh jobs in the education sector during the Mahagathbandhan government's tenure, despite initial resistance from the incumbent administration.
Tejashwi Yadav invoked historical and political references to underscore his arguments, citing the legacy of socialist icon Karpoori Thakur and the BJP's historical opposition to Thakur's policies. He also questioned Nitish Kumar's recent alliance with the BJP, drawing attention to what he perceives as contradictions in Nitish's political journey.
In his closing remarks, Tejashwi Yadav expressed skepticism about Nitish Kumar's political commitments, questioning whether Prime Minister Modi can guarantee Nitish's allegiance. He also criticized Nitish's abrupt departure from the Mahagathbandhan, emphasizing the need for political stability and transparency in Bihar's governance.
