Initially reluctant, the players eventually agreed after persistent pressure from Mishra and his associates. During the match, Mishra reportedly became enraged when a player made an error. He allegedly began hitting the player with a racket and chased him off the court. An attempt by another player to mediate reportedly led to further violence. The second player sustained injuries to his neck and hand during the altercation. Mishra is also accused of breaking a racket and warning the players against practicing at the stadium in the future.Probe Ordered by District MagistrateDistrict Magistrate Taranjot Singh has assured a thorough investigation into the incident. “Based on the findings of the report, we will take the necessary action,” he stated.
