New Delhi: The Magadh Express derailed after a coupling failure caused the train to split into two parts in Bihars Buxar on Sunday. The accident occurred on the Patna-Buxar rail line, leaving passengers in shock and causing chaos at the site. According to reports, the derailment took place near Tudiganj station, situated between Dumraon and Raghunathpur. Train number 20802 Down, Magadh Express, was en route from Delhi to Patna when the coupling between two coaches broke, leading to the unexpected separation of the train cars. On a Thursday afternoon in July, eight bogies of the train went off the tracks near Gonda railway station in Uttar Pradesh. The train, which departed from Chandigarh at 11:35 PM on a recent evening, was en route to Dibrugarh in Assam. The derailment took place between the Motiganj and Jhilahi railway stations in Gonda district at approximately 2:35 PM. The accident resulted in the death of three individuals and left around 30 others injured. Emergency services and railway officials responded promptly to the scene to assist the injured and investigate the cause of the derailment.
