Bihar horror: Lover commits triple murder over girlfriend's rejection

A horrific crime has shaken Saran district in Bihar, where an obsessed lover brutally murdered three members of a family. The perpetrator, driven by infatuation with a minor, stabbed her, her sister, and her father to death. Police promptly arrived at the scene, took the bodies into custody, and sent them for post-mortem. The accused has been arrested.

The gruesome incident took place in Dhanadih village, under the jurisdiction of Rasulpur police station in Saran district. The motive behind the murders was a love affair, with the young man killing his minor girlfriend, her sister, and their father. The attacker also targeted the victim's mother, Shobha Devi, who managed to escape despite sustaining serious injuries. She is currently in critical condition and has been admitted to a hospital in Chhapra.

Triple murder

Late Tuesday night, the family of Tarakeshwar Singh was asleep at home. Singh, his wife Shobha Devi, and their two daughters, Chandni Kumari (17) and Abha Kumari (15), were brutally attacked by Sudhanshu Kumar, also known as Roshan, and his accomplice Ankit Kumar. The attackers, armed with sharp weapons, launched their assault without warning. The commotion woke nearby residents, who rushed to the scene, causing the assailants to flee. Authorities were immediately notified.

Police investigation

The police is conducting a thorough investigation into this triple homicide. The accused, Sudhanshu Kumar, alias Roshan, has been apprehended. Preliminary findings suggest that the minor girl had recently ceased communication with Roshan, inciting his anger. Despite multiple attempts to reconnect, Roshan's frustration culminated in the violent murders of the girl, her sister, and their father on Tuesday night.
