West Champaran: A case of brutality against a 6-year-old innocent girl has come to light in Bihar's West Champaran district. The incident took place in a village in Bagaha's Bhairoganj police station area. The victim girl had gone to see the orchestra during a wedding procession in the neighbourhood late on Sunday night. Then a man from the same village took her to a nearby sugarcane field and raped her. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused and his father.

According to the information, a wedding ceremony was going on in the village. An orchestra program was going on for the wedding party. Then the accused's intentions got corrupted after seeing the girl. He took the girl to the field and did cruelty to her. The innocent girl kept screaming, but due to the sound of the orchestra, no one could hear her. After raping the victim, the accused fled leaving her in the field.

The victim somehow reached home in an injured state and narrated the incident to her family. The family informed the police. Bhairoganj police station immediately reached the spot and took two people including the accused into custody and started questioning them. The medical examination of the victim girl was also done, which confirmed rape.
