Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, Bhagwant Mann, and Raghav Chadha, a member of parliament, all arrived in Patna on Thursday night in preparation for the important opposition meeting that will take place on Friday.

Notably, more than 15 opposition parties are likely to chalk out a joint strategy to take on the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, and Mehbooba Mufti, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, had already arrived in Patna in preparation for the meeting. Mufti was notable for being the first opposition figure to arrive in Bihar for the unity meeting.

Raghav Chadha on arrival ahead of the opposition party meeting in Patna, expressed his pleasure after being invited by the chief minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar to like-minded parties meet. Chadha said, “Bihar holds significant historical importance in the context of India’s political revolutions. We arrived in Patna today for the meeting of like-minded parties tomorrow.”
