Bihar News: A horrifying case of sexual abuse has emerged from a village in the Harpur police station area of Adapur block, East Champaran district, Bihar, where a father allegedly raped his minor daughter on a daily basis. The incident came to light when the teenage victim, distressed by the abuse, dialed the police emergency number 112, revealing her ordeal. The police have filed an FIR against the accused father, who is currently absconding.Shocking allegations in east ChamparanAccording to the police report, the teenager, fed up with the continuous sexual abuse, approached the authorities on Sunday. She informed the police that her father had been subjecting her to this heinous crime every day, and despite confiding in her mother, no action was taken to stop the abuse. The girl explained that her mother remained silent and did nothing to prevent the fathers actions.FIR registered under POCSO actThe police swiftly responded to the emergency call, and a team from the Harpur police station reached the victims home. Based on her statement, an FIR was lodged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The SHO of Harpur police station, Vishwajeet Kumar, confirmed the registration of the case and stated that raids have begun to apprehend the accused father, who fled the village after the case was reported.Victim sent for medical examinationThe victim has been sent to Motihari for a medical examination, and arrangements have been made for her safety.
