This incident has led to his suspension and a cloud of legal trouble. The story began when the commissioner mysteriously disappeared overnight, accompanied by his niece, Sajal Sindhu. Soon after, a video surfaced in which the couple declared that they had entered into a love marriage.Begusarai DC suspensionOn August 13, the family of Sajal Sindhu filed a kidnapping complaint at the Hajipur Sadar police station in Vaishali district. The department suspended Shiv Shakti for his unauthorized absence from the office and for making the controversial video from his official premises. The couple is believed to have tied the knot at the Katyayani temple in Khagaria. The viral video sees them addressing the public and the authorities, firmly stating that their marriage was consensual and requesting the dismissal of the kidnapping complaint.Couples plea for safetyIn their video, both Shiv Shakti and Sajal Sindhu pleaded for protection, stating that their lives were in danger due to the false accusations. Sajal took her plea further by reaching out to the Human Rights Commission, the Bar Council, and the Chief Justice. Despite their appeals, the couple has remained out of public sight, leading many to believe that they are hiding in Khagaria.
