New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Bihars Lakhisarai district, where a disturbing case of rape involving a minor girl has sent shockwaves through the locality. The heinous crime occurred in a village falling under the jurisdiction of the Suryagarha police station, where a young girl, who had ventured out to a local dairy to purchase milk, was brutally raped by the dairy operator on Wednesday evening. Details of the IncidentThe accused, who runs a milk production cooperative and takes care of livestock, tricked the victim into going to a back room of the dairy by saying to give her milk. Once she entered in the room, he violently raped her. The victim was able to escape and return home, where she told her mother about the terrifying incident. The mother then reported the crime to the authorities, leading to the accused being identified and charged with the heinous crime.Police officials take prompt action in rape caseFollowing the horrific incident, the victims mother immediately filed a complaint with the police, who swiftly registered a First Information Report (FIR). The authorities then took the victim to a hospital in Lakhisarai for a medical examination. The accused was promptly arrested and is currently in custody.Case filed under POCSO actAccording to SHO Bhagwan Ram, an investigation into the incident is ongoing, although details are being withheld at this time. SP Pankaj Kumar confirmed the arrest and stated that the case has been filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused is expected to be transferred to Lakhisarai jail on Thursday, pending further legal proceedings.
