An entrepreneur who started a tech company worth billions has expressed his pain on X. He has told how he is currently facing harassment from both the police and his wife. He has claimed that he is 'running away' from the Chennai police. At the same time, he has also talked about his wife's infidelity. He has also shared some evidence related to this in the story, in which it is being claimed that his wife is asking another man to bring condoms.

The story is of Prasanna Shankar, the founder of Singapore's crypto social network. He has also founded a company named Rippling. He writes, 'I am getting divorced. I am currently running away from Chennai police and hiding outside Tamil Nadu. This is my story.' Born in Chennai, Prasanna studied at NIT Trichy and moved to America to start a company.

'My wife is seing someone for the last 6 months'
Prasanna says that his marriage has recently been ruined due to his wife Divya's infidelity. He says that he met Divya while studying at NIT Trichy. They have been married for 10 years and have a 9-year-old son. He wrote, 'Our marriage recently broke down when I found out that Divya was having an affair with a man named Anup for more than 6 months.'

From Boardroom to Bedroom

In the next post, he has also shared some screenshots, which are the messages sent by his wife to Anup. In the first screenshot, Divya can be seen messaging, 'Will you buy condoms in XL size? These are at Guardian, Watsons or 7-11... Do not reply to this message, I am deleting them now. All these are at Orchard Road.' Prasanna says that these screenshots have been sent to him by Anup's wife.

The second screenshot shows a hotel room booking for '2 adults', which was booked from Divya's email ID.

Divorce, false complaints and rape allegations
He wrote, 'After this, we were discussing how many million dollars I would have to give her after the divorce. She was unhappy and decided to make a fake police complaint against me that I had hit her.' He further wrote, 'Later she made fake complaints that I had raped her, I had circulated her nude videos, etc. Singapore police investigated these allegations and found them baseless and declared me innocent.'

He said, 'I applied for divorce in India. She applied for divorce in America and was trying to make more money from this divorce.'

'My wife planned my son's kidnapping'
Prasanna has alleged that Divya kidnapped his 9-year-old son, after which the matter reached the court. He has told through the screenshot that the court had ruled in his favor and ordered joint custody of the child. He said, 'She asked me to come to Chennai and settle here. We signed an MoU that I would give her about Rs 9 crore and Rs 4.3 lakh every month.' He has also alleged that Divya later refused to accept the terms of the MoU.

What's in the MoU?
Prasanna has told in the ex-post that under the MoU, his wife's child's passport was to be kept in a common locker, which she refused to do. He said, 'She refused to follow this. She claimed that the MoU is not valid and she wants more and will go to the US again to file for divorce.'

How Cops cracked the case?
Prasanna alleges that his wife had filed kidnapping charges against him, which led to police officers arriving at his hotel. He said that he fled from the spot with his son fearing arrest. Techie says that he has given proof to the police that his son is safe and legal action is underway. He also claimed that despite all this, the officers are still searching for him and pressuring his family and friends.

He has accused the Chennai police of raiding his friend Gokul's house in Bengaluru without a warrant and detaining him. He also alleged that the police were monitoring his movements and confiscated his caretaker's phone. Prasanna has said that a press conference will be held to make the allegations on behalf of his wife and the police. It is reported that he is preparing to take the legal route to avoid harassment.

Wife's allegations
According to media reports, Divya has accused Prasanna and denied his claims. She has alleged that Prasanna brought her to India in the name of resolving a property dispute. She also said that a man named Gokul Krishnan has forcibly taken away her son. Divya claims that Prasanna has stolen her son's passport. She has expressed concern that he may kidnap the child. She has said that the Chennai Police is trying to help her.
