New Delhi: In a setback to BJP, Minister Kirori Lal Meena of Rajasthan's Bhajan Lal government has resigned from all posts. He made this announcement in a program held in Jaipur. There were speculations about his resignation for the past few days. At present, the resignation has not been accepted. In such a situation, the government can try to persuade him. According to reports, Kirori Lal Meena had said during the Lok Sabha elections that if BJP loses the Dausa Lok Sabha seat, he will resign.
Kirori Lal Meena has once again tweeted amid reports of resignation. In which Meena has written, 'Raghukul reeti sada chali aayi, pran jaai par bachan na jaai.' Which is being linked to his statements given during the Lok Sabha elections.
In the last few days, Kirori Lal Meena has written several letters to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. In the first letter written on May 14, Meena had pointed out a possible loss of Rs 1,146 crore to the government treasury in a multi-storey residential project in the Gandhinagar area of the city. The emergence of such letters had led to speculation that Kirori Lal Meena has opened a front against his own government.
Kirori Lal Meena had said during PM Modi's rally in Dausa that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given me the responsibility of 7 seats. This time if we lose even one of these seven seats, then I will resign from the post of Cabinet Minister. One of the most important seats among these seven, where Kirori Lal Meena is considered to have a strong hold, is Dausa. From where Congress' Murari Lal Meena has won a big victory.
