Bhopal Horror: Drunken men break into woman’s flat, assault her | WATCH

In a shocking incident late Wednesday night, two intoxicated youths forcefully entered a neighboring apartment in Bhopal’s New Minal Residency, assaulting a 20-year-old woman and her cousin brother. The disturbing event took place in Block 3 of the residential society, and the entire confrontation was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media.

The video, initially shared by nd_news_bhopal on Instagram, shows the woman's brother fiercely confronting one of the attackers, demanding to know how they managed to enter the apartment. The altercation escalated quickly, as the attackers, who were neighbors of the victims, had an ongoing dispute with the woman’s brother.

Drunken Attackers Call Reinforcements

The two assailants, identified as Abhi and Avi, lived in the adjacent flat and had a history of disputes with the woman’s brother. On the night of the incident, they barged into the woman’s flat at around 1:30 AM, allegedly with the intention of attacking her brother. When the brother confronted them, the attackers called for reinforcements, leading to a violent brawl inside the apartment.

According to the sources, the woman, a private employee originally from Rewa, and her brother, a student pursuing a B Tech degree from a local private college, were left deeply traumatized by the assault. The situation further deteriorated when the attackers, joined by their accomplices, brutally beat up the brother and continued to threaten the siblings, even in the presence of the police.

Police Response and Ongoing Investigation

The Ayodhya Nagar police have registered a case against the attackers, including charges of molestation. However, the accused are currently on the run, with their flat locked and unoccupied. According to the preliminary investigations, the persons shown in the video are students of LNCT College and are neighbors of each other. They had a dispute going on from past several days. Taking immediate action, the police registered a crime in the night itself under relevant sections on behalf of the woman and a team has left for the immediate arrest of the accused.
