New Delhi: IPS Kishan Sahay Meena has stirred controversy following a recent social media post where he made contentious remarks about religious figures and deities. In his post, IPS Meena claimed that Bhagwan, Allah, Waheguru, and God are mere figments of imagination, a statement that has sparked widespread criticism.

Controversial statement sparks public outrage

In his social media post, Meena suggested that if any of these divine entities existed, India would not have suffered under the rule of foreign invaders. He argued that India's history of subjugation to the Arabs, Turks, Mughals, and British is evidence that God did not protect the nation. "We were enslaved because God did not intervene," he wrote.

Strong reactions from religious leaders

Religious leaders across different faiths have condemned the officer’s statement, accusing him of disrespecting deeply held beliefs. The public, too, has expressed outrage over the post. Meena’s claims that Bhagwan, Allah, Waheguru, and God are mere fabrications have only intensified the backlash. His assertion that India's historical defeats were due to superior weapons and strategies rather than divine will has further fueled the debate.

Religious beliefs questioned

Meena's post continued with the controversial claim that all religious figures—Bhagwan, Allah, Waheguru, and God—are the result of human imagination. He argued that military strength and unity, not divine intervention, led to the victories of foreign invaders. "There is no God or Allah," he concluded, sparking a heated debate on social media.
