Bengaluru Bus Attack: In a horrifying incident on a moving Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus, a conductor was stabbed by a youth from Jharkhand. The accused, identified as Harsh Sinha, reportedly caused a disturbance before launching the violent attack, which was caught on the bus’s CCTV camera.
The incident occurred when Harsh Sinha began shouting and behaving erratically on the bus. When the conductor attempted to question his behavior, Sinha suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed him. The chilling scene, captured by the bus’s surveillance camera, has since circulated widely, sparking public concern.
In response, protesters gathered outside the hospital where the conductor is being treated, demanding accountability from the BMTC and calling for stricter safety measures for bus staff.

The injured conductor was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment. His condition remains critical, but stable. Authorities are investigating the incident, and police have taken the accused into custody.
Following the attack, several pro-Kannada organizations voiced their outrage, criticizing the BMTC management for their perceived inaction. A major point of contention was the absence of the BMTC Managing Director during the crisis. These groups are demanding accountability and better safety measures for bus conductors and passengers alike.
