Disturbing incident at local college

In a separate but equally disturbing event, a 21-year-old BTech student has been accused of secretly recording videos of female students inside a washroom at a private engineering college in Kumbalgodu, located on Mysuru Road. The incident took place on Friday morning around 10:30 AM, when a girl noticed a mobile phone protruding from a cubicle.

The accused, a seventh-semester computer science student, had allegedly locked himself in a cubicle while attempting to film girls using the adjoining facilities. The alarm was raised when the girl screamed after spotting the phone, leading other students to gather and confront the suspect.

Immediate action by students

Despite knocking and calling out for the accused to respond, he remained silent inside the locked cubicle. Concerned students took matters into their own hands, forcibly opening the door to discover him inside. The quick actions of the students resulted in the immediate arrest of the individual, highlighting the community's commitment to ensuring safety and security on campus.
