Bengaluru: Volvo bus driver loses control, hits moving vehicles on flyover | VIDEO

New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Karnataka's Bengaluru where a Volvo driver allegedly lost control over the wheels while driving near Hebba Flyover. After this, the heavy vehicle hit several bikes and cars in line plying on the road. Firstly, the bus driver hit a biker and then kept on moving forward taking other vehicles in its grip.  The bus finally came to a stop after a passenger car positioned itself horizontally in its path. 

The tragic incident occurred Monday morning at approximately 9:30 AM. It was captured on a CCTV camera installed inside the bus cabinet and according to official reports, resulted in one biker sustaining injuries to his leg.

Video surfaces on social media 

A user of X platform shares a video of the incident. He captioned that read "A Volvo driver lost control over the wheels while driving near Hebbal Flyover in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The heavy vehicle hit several bikes and cars in line plying on the road. The bus driver first hit a biker and then kept on moving forward, taking more vehicles in its grip."

Eyewitnesses describe the incident 

The bus driver's loss of control proved catastrophic, as the vehicle first collided with a biker before continuing its relentless forward momentum. More vehicles fell prey to the bus's uncontrolled trajectory, resulting in a chaotic scene.

The investigation has been initiated by the authorities to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the incident, with a primary focus on identifying the specific factors that contributed to the Volvo bus driver's loss of control.
